Lori’s journey to be on Niagara Falls City Council
Started in 2014 by going to council meetings, educating herself about the role, listening to residents’ concerns and conferring with community organizations.
She ranked as first runner up in that year’s election and won her seat in the 2018 municipal election for City Council. The residents of Niagara Falls entrusted her with the important role of advocating for their futures and the health of their community. It is a privilege that Lori does not take lightly and indeed relishes in that responsibility.
As a Niagara Falls Councillor Lori has quickly earned a reputation as a politician that works for residents’ interests, a voice for the unheard and advocate for transparency in government.
Lori is widely recognized in Niagara and worldwide for her intelligence, dedication and integrity.
She has been appointed to many committees and boards during her term as City Councillor and has been able to learn from each of these committees, serve the residents more fully and also bring her breadth of experience to each one.
Central to her vision of a healthy community in our city are sustainable development, environmental protection and affordable housing.
