Accessibility Matters

In an effort to make my campaign accessible to everyone, I will be implementing measures that will make my website, print media, audio and video messages more accessible.
Some of these measures include:
- the size and choice of font on print material
colour contrast on print material - subtitles on videos
- website features to choose grayscale, increase the contrast of colours and font size
As a member of the Accessibility Advisory Committee, we had the opportunity to review the Accessible Elections Policies and Procedures. The City of Niagara Falls is committed to provide accessibility measures to assist with the election process, forms, voting methods, polling locations, etc.
National AccessAbility Week takes place from May 31st to June 6th, 2026. This week highlights the contributions of people with disabilities and promotes the removal of physical, systemic and attitudinal barriers in our local communities. It brings awareness to the challenges that people with disabilities face on a daily basis.
The City of Niagara Falls will be raising the Accessibility flag on Tuesday June 2nd at 1:00 pm at the Rosberg Park flag poles.
