Nurturing the well-being of residents
The new hospital being built in the south end of Niagara Falls has been a massive project that the City has undertaken to address the health care needs of residents. The City has committed to supporting it and taxpayers will be committed to financing it far into the future. The long-term benefits will be advantageous, but community growth must be sensibly managed.
Healthy communities consider and commit to youth programming, arts and culture, mental health, homelessness and addiction, accessibility, age friendly, heritage preservation and state of emergency preparation. These are areas that should be addressed in our infrastructure and operational planning.
